Compress an image
Photos from a modern phone are several megabytes each, which is far more than an email, a chat app or a web form usually wants. Compressing keeps the picture and drops the weight.

How it works
- Add the photos you want to shrink; a whole batch is fine.
- Drag the slider to choose how much smaller, and watch the resulting size update.
- Press the button to compress, then save the smaller versions.
Questions
How much can I compress before it looks bad?
For an ordinary phone photo, 60–75% smaller is usually indistinguishable at normal viewing size. Past about 90% you start to see blockiness in smooth areas like sky.
Will this make my photo blurry?
Not at moderate settings. Compression removes detail your eye is least likely to notice first, so moderate reductions look identical while very aggressive ones do not.
Do you keep a copy of my photos?
There is nowhere for a copy to go. The work happens in your browser and nothing is sent anywhere; turn off your Wi-Fi and it still works.
