Resize a signature for an exam form
A signature has its own rules, separate from the photograph, and they trip people up because the shape is different: wide and short rather than portrait. Scans also start large because they are mostly white.

Most exam portals ask for 10–50 KB at about 6 × 2 cm. Always check the current notice on the official portal.
How it works
- Add your scanned or photographed signature.
- The target is preset for exam portals.
- Press the button to compress, then save it and upload it in the signature field, not the photo field.
Questions
What size should a signature be?
Commonly 10–50 KB at roughly 6 × 2 cm, though it varies by exam. It is almost always a different limit from the photograph on the same form.
My signature is faint after resizing. What now?
Sign again with a darker pen on plain white paper and scan or photograph it in good light. Compression cannot recover strokes that were faint to begin with.
