Questions
Should I pick PNG or JPG?
PNG for anything with text, sharp edges or transparency, and for images you will edit again. JPG for photographs, where it produces far smaller files at the same visible quality.
Will the PNG be bigger than the HEIC?
Usually yes, often several times bigger. HEIC is a modern compressed format and PNG is lossless, so it stores every pixel exactly.
