Questions
What happens to transparent areas?
A PDF page is paper, so anything see-through comes out white. If a logo needs a coloured backdrop behind it, put that in place before building the document.
Will a screenshot still be readable on A4?
Yes. It is placed across the full width of the sheet, so text stays about as legible as it was on screen. For no white border at all, choose the page size that fits the image.
